The RC Light Systems Flex Light Controller is a drop in replacement for theoriginal Flex unit.

This controller doesn't flicker or turn off unexpectedly (which is nice) and doesn't wrap the rx wire around the power pins of the balance connector.

The controller requires a connection to the RX (normal servo output).

The controller features the following modes:

1 - Off

2 - Rotate - the whole airframe is lit and the wings and fuselage sides are illuminated in sequence (looks fantastic in knife edge)

3 - Navigation - the whole airframe is lit plus 2 bright strobe flashes

4 - Wigwag - while airframe is lit and wings fade from side to side

5 - Strobe - only for the brave - fast strobe effect (fantastic in rolling harrier - if you dare)

6 - Twinkle - whole airframe is lit and the four outputs are randomly 'twinkled'

7 - On

It is possible to configure the unit for a serial bus HOWEVER this can only be performed via the bootloader and a half duplex USB dongle. The unit supports all the usual serial busses.
