Order fulfilment / Pre-configuration
We are away from August 20th to August 25th. Orders placed during that time will be dispatched on the 26th August.
Please let us know if you would like us to configure your devices before shipping. We are very happy to help with this. ESC Telemetry Converter needs to right firmware for your setup (radio and esc), you can do this yourself with our bootloader - but we can do this for you prior to shipping - just leave a note at check out with your desired configuration.

US Tariffs - removal of de minimis
Following the announcement of executive order on the 30th July all imports into the US will be liable for duty at an agreed or standard rate. The UK has an agreed rate of 10% which we expect to be applied to RC Light Systems products.

At this time it is not clear if this will be a charge passed onto the customer through USPS collection or if it will be a charge directed to us through RoyalMail when we book the shipment. If the charge is placed on RC Light Systems we will need to add that duty amount to the prices for US customers.

There is little we can do about this, the intent of the tariffs is to make importing more expensive for the purchaser. We will update this as we learn more.
European Customs Charges
As a result of the UK leaving the EU customs union all packages sent to an EU member state will be liable for import charges. This is sadly beyond our control. Typical rates in the vary from 20-24%, and this will be charged on the order value including shipping. We have seen the orders via DHL are also attracting sizeable handling fees as well (we would recommend using standard shipping at this time).
As RCLightSystems is NOT VAT registered we are unable to 'deduct' VAT for export orders or provide a VAT receipt for UK orders. We are looking into this at the moment to see how we can best serve our customers.
