Running an ignition BEC saves the weight of a dedicated ignition pack, the Smart iBEC not only gives this weight saving but also provides RPM telemetry so you can be sure you are getting the best from your engine.
The Smart iBEC can power many ignition systems including DA and RCEXL. RPM feature requires tacho output from the ignition module.
You can use this as a simple iBEC providing switachable, regulated power, or as a complete hub for your engine providing control of your throttle servo and ignition and also providing telemetry.
The Smart iBEC is tough and will protect your RX and other radio components from any noise or HV failure the ignition could cause.
The Smart iBEC includes ultrabight LEDs both internally any to mount on the airframe so you can always tell the ignition state. External LED available in green and red.
